The Chair shall preside at all meetings, sign authorized or approved contracts and other documents on behalf of the Board, and perform such duties as are prescribed by law or by the Board. The Chair, by direction from the Board, may appoint committees of Board and/or staff members to study specific projects.
The Prince George’s County Executive appoints the Chair from among the Board members.
