Teacher Leader Academy

Qualifications

1. be a PGCEA Unit 1 teacher;
2. hold an Advanced Professional Certificate (APC);
3. have an evaluation rating of effective or higher on the PGCPS teacher evaluation system;
4. have at least 3 years of teaching experience with PGCPS. 

Participant Expectations

Providing real-time and easily accessible job-embedded support to novice teachers within the building
Attendance at monthly professional learning sessions
Facilitating a monthly New Teacher Academy in the school
Collecting and recording data on OPLL’s data capturing tool
