The P-TECH Summer Bridge Program is designed to support incoming ninth-grade P-TECH scholars at Frederick Douglass High School as they transition from middle school to both high school and early college, while also providing targeted academic enrichment. Participants will engage in sessions focused on science, math, technology, English Language Arts, character education, study skills, and workplace readiness. For continuing P-TECH scholars, the program provides academic support, ACCUPLACER preparation, college admissions guidance, and opportunities to enhance workplace learning and employability skills, including communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. These experiences help ensure students are fully equipped for the demands of early college coursework and future career pathways.
