This course provides students additional opportunities to develop their electrical skill set. The course covers alternating current systems with the application of Ohm’s law, AD and DC motors, including the main parts circuits and connections, grounding and bonding, electrical systems, NEC regulations, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical benders, selecting and sizing boxes and fittings, installing cable trays, terminating and splicing conductors, installing electric services, applying circuit breakers fuses, contactors and relays, and handling and
installing electric lighting. Students also apply their knowledge and skills by participating in the Student Built House project.
