- Special Education Centers:
- 72 degrees F. (all areas)
- Elementary Schools
- 72 degrees F. (health rooms)
- 68 degrees F. (classrooms, offices)
- 65 degrees F. (MP room and gym)
- 55 degrees F. (halls. bathrooms, storage)
- Secondary Schools and Administrative Offices
- 72 degrees F. (health rooms)
- 65 degrees F. (classrooms, offices)
- 60 degrees F. (MP room, gym)
- 65 degrees F. (halls, bathrooms, storage)
Cooling Season

Thermostat Setting
- Special Education Centers
- 75 degrees F
- All other locations: 78 degrees F
Notes:
Day/Night Boiler Position
- Telephone Line 301-952-6500
- Boilers should be kept in day AND auto position.
- Thermostats are not to be tampered with under any circumstance.
- HVAC systems will operate in occupied mode beginning 1.5 hours before the first bell and will transition to unoccupied mode 1 hour after the last bell.
- During unoccupied periods, systems will maintain wider temperature setpoints and will operate only as needed to stay within those ranges.
- All approved school and community events entered in FS Direct will be scheduled to ensure HVAC systems remain in occupied mode for the duration of the event.
