The Board enacted Ethics Regulations to prevent inappropriate influence. These regulations mandate that Board Members, candidates for the Board of Education, school administrators, and workers declare their financial information and provide minimum standards for how they should conduct business on behalf of the school system. The Board Ethics Advisory Panel was created as a result. The Board Ethics Advisory Panel is a consultative organization tasked with evaluating Board Policy 0107 and providing advice to those who fall within its purview about its implementation. The Panel will be the custodian of all forms submitted by anyone under this Policy, with assistance from the superintendent or any other Board-designated authority. Programs for public education and information on the goals and execution of Policy 0107 will be carried out by the Panel.
