- The PGCPS vision plan is offered by CareFirst BlueVision Plus and administered by Davis Vision
- Flexibility to use any eye care provider
- Blue Vision Plus includes vision services such as routine eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Voluntary plan whereby employees must enroll within 35 days from date of hire or during Open Enrollment using Benefitfocus
- PGCPS pays 75% of monthly premium for vision insurance, the PGCPS share increases to 80% after 8 years of service. The employee pays the remainder through payroll deduction
