College Savings Plans of Maryland is a program available to all Maryland residents to assist with saving for college. There are two options available: 

• The Maryland Prepaid College Trust allows you to lock in tomorrow's tuition at today's prices. 
• The Maryland College Investment Plan  offers a variety of different investment portfolios managed by T. Rowe Price. 

 Both plans are affordable, flexible, and offer state and federal tax benefits! 

 Employees can now elect to enroll in the College Savings Plans of Maryland and have their contributions deducted from their bi-weekly PGCPS pay check.

• To ensure your contributions will be deducted from your PGCPS bi-weekly pay check follow the Payroll Deduction Instructions and complete the appropriate form(s) below:

  • PGCPS Payroll Deduction Authorization Form for Prepaid College Trust
  • PGCPS Payroll Deduction Authorization Form for College Investment Plan
• The College Savings Plans of Maryland is not a benefit administered by the PGCPS Payroll and Benefits Office.
