Jessica Shelton is an Elementary ELD Coach. Ms. Shelton started her teaching career in Prince George’s County 12 years ago at Oxon Hill Elementary School. In 2017, she transitioned to an ELD teacher, servicing multilingual learners, and was the School Testing Coordinator at Fort Foote Elementary School. She started her journey at the ELD office in the school year 2023-2024. She has a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and certifications in elementary education and English language development (ELD). She is currently working on her Master of Education-Literacy Teacher for Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Populations and components for National Board Certification. A fun fact about Ms. Shelton is that she is a motocross mom of an 8-year-old boy; they spend most of their time outside and at the motocross track.
