PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch is a program that believes that all students --  beginning at a young age -- need access to real-world, applied learning experiences that empower them to gain the skills they need to thrive as they move throughout their school journey. This program provides hands-on, minds-on learning opportunities from grade three through grade five. PLTW Launch taps into students’ exploratory nature, engages them in learning that feels like play, and encourages them to keep discovering. Students engage in 28 interdisciplinary modules to bring learning to life. PLTW Launch empowers students to adopt a design-thinking mindset through compelling activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them. As students engage in hands-on activities in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science, they become creative problem-solvers ready to take on any challenge.
