TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be provided for students who are accepted into the programs.
The Automotive Technician Program incorporates Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) program certification standards and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) standards. Students in the Automotive Technician Program learn how to diagnose and repair components in the engine, transmission, and transaxle systems of automotive vehicles. Students also gain valuable experience with working under the hood and using computerized diagnostic equipment and specialty tools. Students also learn to use their knowledge of engines, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to maintain and repair cars and light vehicles.
